Why it was recalled

An infant seat carrier that detaches in a crash increases the risk of injury.

What was recalled

Graco Children's Products Inc. (Graco) is recalling certain SnugRide Turn & Slide and Modes Nest Travel Systems with Snugride Turn & Slide infant child seats. Please refer to Graco's recall report for specific model information. The infant seat carrier may detach from the base in a crash. As such, these child seats and travel systems fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems."

What to do

Owners are advised to follow the instructions for installing the child seat with the vehicle seat belt (without the base) until the replacement seat arrives. Graco will replace the child seat, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026. Owners may contact Graco customer service at 1-800-345-4109..
