What was recalled

ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, LLC (ARBOC) is recalling certain 2025 Spirit of Equess, 2026 Spirit of Freedom, Spirit of Independence, and Spirit of Mobility transit buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

What to do

Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 24, 2026. Owners may contact ARBOC customer service at 1-866-953-5555.. Follow the official notice for full instructions.
